It's not the newest edition but it meets my needs just as well. The book is pretty ordinary, it contains formulas, concepts, examples, and practice problems all in an easy to read format and style. The read pay off is that when I bought this the newest edition was around $200, I got|About the Author|"Russ Hibbeler "graduated from the University of Illinois-Urbana with a B.S. in Civil Engineering (major in structures) and an M.S. in Nuclear Engineering. He obtained his Ph.D. in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from Northwestern University.
